 Rev. Roger Lascelle
Father Lascelle was born on November 27, 1947 in Concord New Hamphsire. His father is French Canadian and his mother is of Irish descent and as a result Father grew up speaking both English and French. In his early 20's he became a member of a religious teaching order, Brothers of the Sacred Heart, in New England. He attended college with the Jesuits at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala. He taught Algebra and religion at the High School level for 4 years before entering St. Mary Seminary and University,in Baltimore Md. in 1973. He was ordained to the priesthood on June 18, 1977 in Worcester, Mass. After serving in Worcester for 10 years he moved to Colorado, where at that time, there was a greater need for priest help.
He has served at Light of the World Church in Littleton, Co., and at Holy Name Church in Steamboat Springs. For 13 years he served as pastor in Meeker, Rangely and Craig Co. For 6 years he served as pastor at St. Joseph Church and School in Old Town Fort Collins. Father Roger became pastor of St. Patrick's Parish on June 11, 2010
